The Poster Prizes of BES
The Poster Prizes of BES are awarded every two years at the BES-Symposium to two posters that present important results in the field of bioelectrochemistry.
Poster Prize candidates should not have reached his/her 30th birthday on December 31st of the year before the corresponding BES-Symposium.
The Poster Prize candidates have to tick a box when they submit their poster abstract to show they can and wish to be considered for the prize.
The prize consists of a certificate and a one year (electronic or print) subscription of Bioelectrochemistry given by Elsevier, and BES will also offer the winners two years of Bioelectrochemical Society Fees.
A Prize Committee will select two posters from the eligible posters presented in the BES-Symposium. The Prize Committee will consist of the Chairman of the BES-Symposium, who will chair the Prize Committee, plus at least 3 BES members chosen by the chair.
